Southern Ute Tribe wins case against biker rally

The organizers of a biker rally were ordered to pay the Southern Ute Tribe of Colorado $110,000 for breach of contract.

The tribe's court on Wednesday said the Rally in the Rockies failed to pay rent to the tribe. The rally was supposed to be held at the tribe's Sky Ute Events Center but the organizers pulled out at the last minute.

Dan Bradshaw, the owner of the rally, plans to appeal to the Southwestern Intertribal Court of Appeals. He said he wasn't given a fair trial in tribal court.

Judge Suzanne Carlson also ordered the Bradshaw to pay attorney's fees to the tribe.
