Three accused of theft from Oglala Sioux Tribe

Three people are facing federal charges for allegedly stealing money from the Oglala Sioux Tribe of South Dakota.

Eileen Janis, David D. Rabbit Sr. and Kim Colhoff are charged with theft from a tribal organization. The U.S. Attorney's Office says the crime occurred when Janis served as vice president and Rabbit as treasurer.

The three each face five years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines if convicted.
