House approves bill to extend Indian home loans

By a voice vote, the House on Tuesday approved an extension to an Indian home loan program.
H.R.1676 extends the Indian loan guarantee program for another five years. Supporters said it would help Native Americans realize the dream of homeownership.
Since 1992, the program has guaranteed $517 million in loans, according to The Oklahoman.
