Amber Dawn Martinez, a 17-year-old Taos Pueblo girl from New Mexico, was found dead last weekend, almost two months after she went missing.
Martinez's body was found on the Picuris Pueblo reservation, about five miles fro her home. The FBI and the Bureau of Indian Affairs are investigating, saying her death is suspicious.
Martinez was a junior at Santa Fe Indian School, a BIA school operated by New Mexico's 19 Pueblos. She went missing on February 8 and never showed up to school.
