Mississippi Choctaws open new justice center
The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians opened a new justice center on Tuesday.

The complex includes the tribe's law enforcement department, its court system and a forty-seven bed jail. It was funded by the tribe and the federal government.

Convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff lobbied the White House, the Justice Department and the Interior Department for the detention center funds, according to documents released by the Senate Indian Affairs Committee.
