Missing brothers found dead on Red Lake Reservation

Two young brothers who went missing last November were found dead on the Red Lake Reservation in northern Minnesota.

Tristan Anthony White, 4, and Avery Lee Stately, 2, were last seen in front of their home on November 22, 2006. Their disappearance triggered a massive search of the reservation but turned up few clues.

As the weather warmed, volunteer search crews went back to a lake near the home. They found the boys' bodies encased in ice in Thunder's First Lake.

Authorities are trying to figure out what happened. They may have walked a quarter-mile to the lake then ventured onto the frozen surface before falling in, an FBI agent said.
