Tribal meth bill approved by House subcommittee
A House Judiciary subcommittee passed H.R.545, the Native American Methamphetamine Enforcement and Treatment Act, on Tuesday.

The bill is sponsored by Rep. Tom Udall (D-New Mexico). It would ensure tribes are eligible to receive federal funds for three anti-meth programs.

The full House Judiciary Committee is expected to pass the bill today. It was also referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
