Fire Thunder worried about delay in ouster case

Cecelia Fire Thunder, the ousted president of the Oglala Sioux Tribe of South Dakota, is worried that she won't get her day in court before the tribe's upcoming election.

Fire Thunder wants the tribe's top court to reinstate her. But she says people are trying to interfere with the judicial process. One judge recused herself from the case and a new judge -- to be appointed by the tribal council, which voted to oust Fire Thunder -- has not been assigned.

A new election is being held in November. Fire Thunder won election two years ago as the first female leader of the tribe.
