Disenrolled Indians seek accountability

About 50 California Indians held a protest on Sunday to call attention to the removal of people from tribal rolls.
The American Indian Rights and Resources Organization says more than 2,000 people have been kicked out of California tribes. The group blames greed and politics for the growing practice.
But Glenda Nelson, the chairperson of the Enterprise Rancheria, said 70 people were removed to restore tribal unity. As the protest occurred, the tribe heard the appeals of some of the disenrolled members.
