Mississippi Choctaws, MSU team up to offer classes


The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and Mississippi State University signed an agreement to offer classes for students pursuing a degree in business administration.

Students, tribal employees and tribal members will be able take classes at the Choctaw Hospitality Institute. The courses are geared towards accounting, management, marketing and a new concentration in resorts and conventions.

The Choctaw Hospitality Institute was started by the tribe to provide training for employees of the tribe's resort.
