Chickasaw Nation to reach out to tribal entrepreneurs

The Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma is starting a new program to develop, encourage and grow businesses owned by tribal members.

The tribe will open small business centers to help Chickasaw entrepreneurs start or expand their businesses. The tribe is also adopting contract preferences for Chickasaw-owned businesses.

The Chickasaw Nation employs more than 8,000 people. The tribe has more casinos than any other tribe in Oklahoma and the United States.
