Murder charge laid for meth lab blast on tribal land

A 28-year-old man was charged with first-degree murder in connection with a fire inside a meth lab on Absentee Shawnee tribal land in Oklahoma.
The January 18, 2003, fire occurred inside a trailer that was being used as a meth lab.
It caused the deaths of Jennifer Renee Schultz, 20, and Daniel Isaac Long, 16, and caused burn injuries to Christy Tiger and Christopher Lee Ward.
Ward now faces charges for Schultz's death. He was charged in state court after an investigation by the Absentee Shawnee Tribe, the FBI and local authorities.
