"What did Ralph Reed know and when did he know it?

When did he learn that tribal gambling money bankrolled his activities against another tribe's gambling operations?

The question matters because Reed is a Republican candidate for lieutenant governor and religious conservatives - typically foes of gambling - are a key part of his political base.

He now concedes that, in one case, the money was from the gambling revenue of an Indian tribe. But he denies he knew that when he received it.

Is that credible? Until now, we haven't gone there."
