Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean and comedian and radio host Al Franken will be headlining the Indigenous Democratic Network List's first ever "boot camp" for Indian candidates.
Kalyn Free, the president and founder of INDN's List, is expecting 400 people for the four-day camp. She wants to help recruit, train and elect Indian candidates for public office.
The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community in Minnesota is hosting the event from October 13-16.
