Reed backs lottery proposal he fought in Alabama

Georgia Republican lieutenant governor candidate Ralph Reed is backing a lottery proposal in Georgia despite opposing a similar program in Alabama.
Reed supports a state constitutional amendment to limit lottery money to education and financial capacity building. But, using $1.15 million from the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians, he worked against a similar program in Alabama, his GOP opponent Casey Cagle said.
Reed took the money from the tribe after it was funneled through two Christian groups, who say they would have never accepted it had they known it came from a gaming tribe.
