Police have little information on missing Native girl

Police and the family of a five-year-old Native girl who has been missing for a month say they are frustrated with the lack of progress in the case.

Police have been focusing on the family but have not released any information to suggest they have a suspect in mind. Searches for Tamra Keepness have turned up nothing.

Tamra's mother says she has launched her own investigation because Native people are wary of the police. Tamra disappeared from her home in Regina. The family lives in a predominantly Native part of the city.
