Coushatta members call for probe into tribal finances

Members of the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana are accusing disputed chairman Loveline Poncho of mismanaging millions of dollars in tribal funds.

Poncho's opponents want Congressional investigation into the tribe's finances. An internal audit showed that he and William Worfel, a tribal council member, spent $18 million on lobbyists in one year.

Critics say Poncho and Worfel resigned at a council meeting February 7 but the two deny stepping down.
