Man says bar's dress code applies only to Natives

A man in Saskatchewan is calling for a boycott of a bar that he says discriminates against Native people.

Ryan McDonald said he and his friends were turned away from the bar because they were wearing sports jerseys. But he said non-Natives with sports jerseys were allowed in, and that staff members told him the dress code was meant to keep out Natives.

The owner of Gabbo's said he doesn't have to justify why he bans sports jerseys but not caps, jeans and ripped clothes.
