The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes of Idaho are planning a $35.2 million casino expansion project.

The Fort Hall Casino will expand to the site of the adjacent Shoshone-Bannock Hotel and Event Center. The existing building will then be converted into a bingo hall.

As part of the expansion, the tribe is asking members to approve liquor sales for the new casino. The issue is set for a May 29 vote.

Tribal members previously approved liquor sales at the Hotel and Event Center.
