The tribal gaming industry in Oklahoma has grown by leaps and bounds in just a decade.

Tribal casinos generated $501.6 million in 2002, according to Casino City’s North American Gaming Almanac. By 2012, the market grew to $3.7 billion.

The growth spurt came after voters legalized Class III gaming in 2004. Oklahoma is now home to more than 110 gaming facilities, the most of any state.
