The Poarch Band of Creek Indians has seen revenues and profits grow as it expands it gaming operation in Alabama and neighboring states. According to an annual report cited by Al.Com, the tribe took in $600 million in revenues in 2012, up from $546 million in 2011. Profits grew to $332 million, up from $298 million. "Gaming is doing fabulous," Tim Martin, the head of the Creek Indian Enterprises Development Authority, said at a meeting with local businesses, Al.Com reported. The tribe operates Class II facilities on its reservation and owns commercial racetracks in Alabama and Florida. Martin said the tribe is always looking for opportunities to expand its gaming and non-Indian gaming operations. Get the Story:
