The Seneca Nation shared $13.9 million in gaming revenues with the local community, according to the New York Office of the State Comptroller. The money went to six counties and two cities, the office said. The revenues came from the Seneca Allegany Casino, Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino and the Seneca Niagara Casino. Under its Class III gaming compact, the tribe shares 25 percent of slot machine revenues with the state, which then distributes a portion to local communities. The tribe had been withholding the state's share in a dispute over exclusivity until reaching an agreement with Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) in June 2013. Get the Story:
