The Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan fired its top casino executive last week, The Mt. Pleasant Morning Sun reported.

The tribe would not confirm the status of Wendy Reeve, who was brought on as chief executive officer in May 2013. But tribal members and casino employees told the paper she was let go.

Reeve was overseeing operations at the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort and the Saganing Eagles Landing Casino.
