The Yakama Legends Casino

The Yakama Nation of Washington says it will start construction on a long-delayed $90 million casino expansion.

The tribe is adding a 200-room hotel, a spa, more dining space and more gaming space to the Yakama Legends Casino. There will also be a 12,000-square-foot day care center for employees.

The project has been in the works for several years. It was approved by the general membership in March 2011.

The tribe announced a groundbreaking in September 2012 and said the casino would be finished by July of this year. Now it's supposed to open by the end of 2016.
