Card dealers approve union contract with Mashantucket Tribe

Card dealers at the casino owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut approved a new union contract.

The contract with the Local 2121 of the United Auto Workers includes raises retroactive to 2012. It also includes raises for 2014 and 2015.

The union represents about 2,000 card dealers at Foxwoods Resort Casino. It is organized under tribal law.
