The Navajo Nation Council voted 76-3 on Tuesday to create the tribe's first gaming enterprise.
The Navajo Gaming Enterprise will handle all the tribe's gaming business. The enterprise will be headed by a board of directors and a chief executive officer.
The tribe is hoping to build several casinos in New Mexico and Arizona. The first one is to be built near Navajo, Arizona, off Interstate 40.
