The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut has canceled plans for jobs fairs at its gaming venture in Pennsylvania.
The tribe bought an old racetrack and five off-track betting sites after the state legalized slot machines. But the tribe is reconsidering based on tax laws that may make the business unattractive.
The Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs is set to hire 400 to 500 people if everything works out.
