A lawsuit has been filed in Pennsylvania over a failed tribal casino deal
Kermith R. Sonnier Sr. of Lake Charles, Louisiana, said he gave $335,000 to Ernest and Marilyn Liggett to invest in the proposed casino. He now says the Liggetts failed to provide anything in return.
The Liggetts had said a tribe was interested in developing a casino but the tribe's name was never mentioned.
