The Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma is proposing a casino resort near the old Chilocco Indian School.
The tribe wants to build a casino, hotel and golf course on 800 acres next the school. The facility is near the Kansas border.
Construction will begin as soon as the tribe gets state and federal approval for a Class III gaming compact.
