Harrah's Entertainment has options to buy nearly 84 acres for the Narragansett Tribe's proposed casino in Rhode Island.
The land is valued at more than $12 million, The Providence Journal reported. It consists mostly of undeveloped woodlands zoned for industrial use, the paper said.
Some of the land has been under option for years with the tribe's previous backer. Options on 8 acres were secured last month.
