Strip club on Crow Creek Sioux Reservation seeks liquor license

The Crow Creek Sioux Tribe of South Dakota will receive tax revenues from the sale of liquor at a strip club within reservation borders, The Mitchell Daily Republic reports.

The tribe agreed to issue a liquor license to Julie O’Neal, who runs the Prairie Chicken Bar and Resort on the reservation. She will distribute 89 percent of sales taxes to the tribe, with the remaining 11 percent going to the state.

But O’Neal still needs approval from the Buffalo County Commission before she starts selling liquor. She is submitting a new application after her first one had some technical issues.
